Because we are a micro-roaster and wish to provide only the freshest beans possible, Aduro Bean's coffee stocks change from month to month.

Unlike big, commercial roasters who purchase their green coffee beans by the metric ton, we buy very small micro-lots, specially chosen to ensure that our customers receive the highest-quality coffee. At any given time though, we do try to carry beans that represent all the major coffee growing regions of the world.

HOUSE BLENDS.

COWTOWN Market Blend, Fair Trade/Organic: A medium blend with a great deal of complexity. It opens with a burst of floral flavors that quickly meld into a melange of nuts with a hint of earthiness. The end is abrupt. You will remember the flavors but they certainly do not cling to the tongue. Recommended Roast: Medium/Dark. $10.50/lb

Black Flag Pirate Blend, Organic: Big and Bold is the only way to describe this new dark blend. If you're looking for a coffee that will jump out of the cup and slap you around a bit, then this bean is for you. A rich and complex blend designed to linger on the tongue. Smokey earthiness and chocolate abound. It will make you say arrgh—we promise. Recommended Roast: Dark. $10.50/lb

Café Allegro, Fair Trade/Organic (Breakfast Blend): Featured at Hobby House Hill in Bowie. A mild, yet medium to full-bodied cup, Café Allegro is the perfect start to any day. Bright flavors and medium intensity, this is a coffee for any occassion. Recommended Roast: Medium/Dark. $10.50/lb

Artisan Blend, Fair Trade/Organic: Named for our friends at Artisan Baking Company in Fort Worth, this blend was created to pair with their wonderful breads and baked goods. A complex blend designed to linger on the tongue. Nuts and chocolate abound. Perfect with desserts. Recommended Roast: Medium/Dark. $10.50/lb

ESPRESSO BLENDS.
Appian Way Classic Espresso Blend:
Modeled after the traditional Italian espresso produced by Illy, our blend is a straight up classic Italian blend of 4 beans. Rich flavor, full mouth feel, slightly sharp finish. Recommended Roast: Dark. $11.75/lb

DECAF BEANS.

Columbian Decaf: Everything you'd expect from a Columbian coffee without the caffeine! This bean will produce a rich and very full-bodied cup with good acidity. Recommended Roast: Dark. $9.50/lb

SINGLE-ORIGINS BEANS.

Ethiopia Yirgacheffe, Fair Trade/Organic (Oromia Farmers Union): Another outstanding bean from Ethiopia that delivers complexity with every cup. A very smooth background gives way to a diversity of flavor. Light to medium body but full of flavor. Recommended Roast: Medium. $10.50/lb

Guatemala SHB, Fair Trade/Organic (Asociación Chajulense Maya Ixil): Asociación Chajulense was formally founded in 1990 by ethnic Maya Ixil farmers in San Gaspar Chajul, El Quiche, Guatemala. With Fair Trade revenue, the asociación has created an education center, improved healthcare, provided members with access to credit, and diversified local products to include spice, honey, milk and cheese. Grown at 1,500 meters, this coffee has a bit of sweet spice with moderate and balanced acidity. Medium body with a slight fruity aroma. Recommended Roast: Medium or Medium/Dark. $10.50/lb

Nicaragua, Fair Trade/Organic (Apañas Co-Op): Grown by a small co-op of farmers on the northeastern shore of Lake Apanas. Full body with deep chocolate tones and a hint of nuts and flowers. Very clean with little aftertaste. Recommended Roast: Medium/Dark. $10.25/lb

Panama Carmen Estate, Rain Forest Alliance: Wow! This is the real deal. This coffee scored very high in this year's Best of Panama Competition and rightfully so. The two components that immediately jump out are the incredibly smooth nature and a very complex depth of flavor. Carmen Estate is more full-bodied than most Panamanians with a little less acidity. While the coffee is still bright, it is mellowed by full flavor and an almost milk chocolate finish. Very nice! Recommended Roast: Medium/Dark. $11.00/lb

Sumatra Grade 1 Mandheling, Triple-Pick, Organic: WOW! Deep Sumatran taste but a very clean cup. This is because this lot has been "picked through" so that only the best beans make the cut. A very earthy, full-bodied coffee with serious carmel and chocolate overtones and a smokey finish. It is quite popular at a darker roast. Recommended Roast: Medium or Dark. $10.25/lb
